This drill combines several popular and effective drills into a format that can concentrate many critical skill building exercises into a fast moving, competitive activity your kids will love.

Requirements 12 players, 6 basketballs, 6 cones, 4 baskets as shown

Benefits
Combines a variety of ball handling, shooting, passing, rebounding and conditioning skills in one fast-paced exercise that can be timed.

Setup
One 2-player team at each station, 1 through 6. An alternative is to have one player timed through the entire drill. Players complete a station then do the next station in sequence.

Objective
Complete the number of skills specified for each station then move to the next station. First team (or individual) to complete all 6 stations wins.

Station One
Dribble around the cones (red line is path) changing hands to keep ball awayf from cones. When the first team member is done, he must speed dribble back on the sideline to return the ball to his team mate. When the second players has finished, they both go to Station Two.

Station Two
Mikan Drill: Each player must make ten shots and not bring the ball down below the shoulders.

Station Three
X Drill: Player drives right handed for lay in, gets ball drives right handed to left elbow and changes hands, drives left handed for lay in, gets ball and drives right handed to right elbow, changes hands and drives right handed for layin until 10 baskets.

Station Four
Each player in turn dribbles right handed down and left handed up following the path shown.

Station Five
Tip Drill: Player must bounce the ball off the backboard, catch the rebound and put it in the basket. Repeat until 10 baskets are scored.

Station Six
Each player makes 10 free throws. Partner can help rebound.

If the players tend to gang up at one station, adjust the number of repetitions to maintain flow.
