Steve and Jane Jordan

Coeur d'Alene

We paid Bjorn and Korrine a visit in October and had a really fun 3-day weekend. We spent hours in an incredible antique store in Spokane. We also toured the Davenport Hotel. Talk about hoity-toity, oh my. Another highlight of that trip was meeting

Korrine's dad, Mark, and his wife, Carrie. They have a beautiful ranch-style property near Cheney, Washington. Jane and I spent a fair amount of time walking around Coeur d'Alene wondering how nice it would be to have a place here. Speaking of nice places, Bj and Korrine have put a bunch of work into their house and it is looking quite fine these days.

Rec Room Remodel

It took about 8 weeks, but who cares? It rained all summer anyway. We completely remodeled the rec room. You can see those pictures if you click here.

Jane's Birthday at Hatcher Pass

We played hooky from work and spent September 11 at Hatcher Pass and the scenery was amazing. The park had already closed for the season, but we snuck in anyway and nobody tried to stop us. We walked around for hours and took pictures until the camera batteries wore out. The road up the mountain was specifically designed for travel by Miata, and we made the most of it. After hiking those many miles, we drove down and found an Italian restaurant in Wasilla that we hadn't tried before, and ended a perfect day with a perfect meal.
